Drug Drug Description Daptomycin A cyclic lipopeptide antibiotic used to treat complicated skin and skin structure infections by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria and bacteremia due to Staphylococcus aureus. Polymyxin B A polymyxin antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of infections in the body. Caspofungin An echinocandin used to treat a variety of fungal infections. Micafungin An antifungal agent used for the treatment of candidemia, acute disseminated candidiasis, and certain other invasive Candida infections, and for the prophylaxis of Candida infections during stem cell transplantation.
