Tridecactide, also known as alpha-corticotropin 1-13, is a deacetylated and deaminated alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone, which may have antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects.1 Tridecactide, along with metenkefalin, are under investigation as an immunomodulatory therapy for moderate to severe COVID-19.2,3
